After over a year of setbacks, Anika's Pizza is finally opening its restaurant doors right here in the Moultonborough Village! Anika's Pizza opened last year, replacing the previous occupants "Artie's Subs & Pizza." While their opening date was on August "Friday the 13th," in honor of the beloved '80s horror movie franchise. Unfortunately they closed their doors the next day due to an overwhelming response and lack of adequate staffing... Though we wonder how the opening date played into this.
The owners have continued making several upgrades over the past year, and are excited to finally be opening their doors completely... They have been open since December, sorta... They started opening for curbside pickup for a few hours per day, increasingly adding more days, but curbside doesn't give you the feel of what Anika's Pizza truly has to offer. New equipment, awesome decorations from floor to ceiling, and even a Pac-Man arcade!
As of April 11th, they finally opened their doors again for good this time! Though they previously started off small with very limited items, they will be offering an extensive menu for everyone, including plant-based options for vegans and vegetarians looking for something to eat when visiting Lake Winnipesaukee. Don't worry, they offer plenty of real meat as well!

"Just had a pizza, and it was delicious! Can't wait till it is up and running with all the bells and whistles. Sauce was yummy and if you like a thicker crust, this is the place. Soft and airy. We'll be back for sure! Hours are my only complaint, closing at 6:30 seems early, and an odd time."
